Busan · Glass above an open sea

Oryukdo Skywalk & Igidae Coast

Stand above the sea on a short horseshoe-shaped glass platform at Oryukdo, then decide whether to stop there or continue onto the longer Igidae coast. The skywalk is a quick viewpoint; the full coastal route is a real walk with rocks, slopes and changing sea conditions, not an extension to rush before dark.

A considerate tip

“For the skywalk alone, choose shoes with grip and check the official operator notice before leaving: snow, rain, strong wind and maintenance can restrict entry. For Igidae, Visit Busan describes roughly 4.7 km and about 2.5 hours between Dongsaengmal and the Oryukdo landing; take water, start with daylight to spare and do not step on rocks or damage the nearby marine protected ecosystem.”

Practical notes

Address
Oryukdo Skywalk · 137 Oryukdo-ro, Nam-gu, Busan Taxi card: 부산광역시 남구 오륙도로 137 (오륙도스카이워크)
Hours
Confirm opening hours with the Nam-gu operator. Snow, rain, strong wind or maintenance can restrict the glass bridge. Skywalk access and Igidae trail restrictions are separate checks.
Getting there
Nam-gu Facilities Management Corporation lists buses 27 and 131 as options from Kyungsung University–Pukyong National University Station for Oryukdo Skywalk. Busan GeoPark also names stops around Igidae Entrance and Oryukdo SK View Apartment, so routes may not share one stop. Search “Oryukdo Skywalk” in a map app, check the live direction and alighting stop, and get off at the stop shown for the Skywalk.

Separate the short skywalk from the longer Igidae walk

Oryukdo Skywalk is a short glass viewing section; Igidae is a separate hike. Visit Busan lists the route from Dongsaengmal to Oryukdo Ferry Terminal at about 4.7 km and 2.5 hours.

Choose whether to combine them based on weather, daylight and your group’s walking ability. Rain, snow or strong wind may restrict the skywalk, and the coastal trail has climbs. Turn back after the glass view if that is your goal; add Igidae when you want a longer walk.
